Personal Description:

As a tutor, I am patient and encouraging. I am an economics tutor with a passion for teaching. I can help students of all ages and abilities with anything from supply and demand to externalities. I believe that students are always more confident once they feel as if they can teach the concept to someone else, so I ask my students to teach the material to me as if I was new to it. I am adept in many subjects, but I am mostly an economics tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism. After earning that, I moved on to obtain a master's degree in finance. I earned a 32 on the ACT Composite and 1480 on the SAT Composite. I can help economics students with anything from homework to test prep.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a calm and courteous approach to explain concepts. I also use gentle repetition to help students remember the material at hand.
