Personal Description:
Hello! I am a native Spanish speaker with experience in adult learning and curriculum development. Growing up in Eastern Canada and through French Immersion as well as University level French courses, I feel just as comfortable in both of these languages as I do in English.
Tutoring Experience:
I work in curriculum development for newcomer youth 12-18 and deliver/facilitate the curriculum I develop to different junior high and high school groups in the city. I have also previously worked in adult learning programs at the University of Calgary.
Tutoring Approach:
Kindness is #1. I think visual aids and kinetic experiences are important! Patience is also incredibly important when learning anything new. Results come at different speeds for everyone!
