Personal Description:
I have a passion for how the brain works and plan to be a neurosurgeon one day. I choose to be a math tutor because it allows me to help my students work towards their academic, personal, and professional goals. I like helping others by sharing the knowledge I have acquired. My main goal as a tutor is to make sure my students understand the material from the ground up.
Tutoring Experience:
I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. Since I was in high school, I have been tutoring other students in courses like algebra and calculus. While at university, I have spent time tutoring calculus and physics, a highly math-related science course. The students I have tutored leave me with better grades than they had before I became their math tutor.
Tutoring Approach:
I place the greatest importance on each student I tutor. I recognize that each student has their own particular needs as far as understanding the material, so I adjust my tutoring style to each student I work with. I enjoy building a strong rapport with my students so they can feel comfortable discussing their issues with me.
