Personal Description:

I enjoy working with students as an English tutor. I bring positivity to each study session, encouraging my students as they develop their writing skills. I can assist them in reading, phonics, college-level English, and other areas. I am detail-oriented and organized, which allows me to readily keep track of progress.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught English to elementary-age students for a year in South Korea. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have an ESOL endorsement, which I used to support students in learning English. I have taught students in fifth and sixth grade at a private school.

Tutoring Approach:

Students work best when they are encouraged in a positive environment. I believe that through this, any student can recognize their potential. I get to know student's 1-on-1 to learn their interests, academic goals, and their skill level. In addition, we may use a pre-assessment to measure their strengths and weaknesses.
