Personal Description:

Tutoring classmates since 8th grade, I am a chemistry tutor with a lot of patience to explain hard-to-understand topics. My passion is to help kids and teens study more effectively and reach for their academic goals. I work in the pharmaceutical industry but continue to enjoy working one-on-one with students.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. My tutoring experience began in middle school when I coached classmates in my chemistry class. In high school, I worked in the Academic Learning Center. Having attended schools in Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, I know what it takes to learn, adjust, and acquire new skills.

Tutoring Approach:

If a student is interested in a topic, they can learn it. I make sure a student is comfortable talking about their needs before starting a lecture, and identify their learning style while helping to organize the material. To help someone understand the material and gain confidence, I explain my own struggles and how I overcame them.
