Personal Description:

I have plenty of tutoring experience, as I have been doing so since 2006. I love helping students who are struggling to understand science, mainly biology. I am a skilled biology tutor who can work with students of all ages and abilities. I can help with basic biology concepts, advanced concepts, and everything in between.

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a bachelor's of liberal arts focusing on philosophy, history of math, and science. During my education, I completed three years of required laboratory science. Before earning my degree, I spent nearly ten years tutoring and working as a freelance writer.

Tutoring Approach:

I focus on meeting my students where they are and helping them move forward. Once I know their strengths, weaknesses, and goals, we often find ways of using those strengths to conquer problems that the student once thought impossible. I believe that working hard for good grades is much easier when the student can see their improvements.
