Personal Description:

I recently graduated from college. I have been tutoring high school students in STEM academics, and I am now a math tutor. I am willing to help in test prep, but math is my main passion. I earned a 750 on the SAT Math and an 800 on the SAT Math Level 2.

Tutoring Experience:

Along with prior tutoring experience at the high school level, I have a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in neuroscience. I have experience tutoring students of all ages and abilities in math subjects such as algebra, calculus, college algebra, geometry, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in learning with my students. I usually teach using books or basing lessons on the student's coursework. I find it is best to use the student's strengths and weaknesses to teach things effectively instead of just giving them problems to solve. I often teach students study tricks that reinforce good habits.
