Personal Description:

I have a passion for helping others learn and experience academic success. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others, particularly when it could leave them feeling confident as they progress through their education. I strive to motivate students as they build their knowledge and skills in economics topics like risk and return or human capital.

Tutoring Experience:

I began tutoring middle school students in high school. I also served as a mentor at my local church in a middle school youth group. In 2015, I graduated Summa Laude. I majored in International Affairs and minored in English Literature. As I pursued my bachelor's degree, I volunteered to tutor local students. I also spent summers in Nepal and Cambodia, where I taught students English. I plan to get my master's in International Conflict Resolution.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to find ways to help my students connect to the information. I believe that my job as an economics tutor is to find the ideal way to communicate complex concepts to my pupil, whether we are going over business cycles, market failures, or economic development. By getting to know my student on an individual level, I can tailor my sessions to their needs.
