Personal Description:

I have been working in childcare and school settings for over 10 years. During that time I have provided homework help in school clubs and after school child care. I try to find engaging and fun ways to introduce learning concepts like teaching math and reading through Pokemon and board games. I always engage in self teahing to broaden my own horizons and make sure I can help with as much as possible.

Tutoring Experience:

I started off working in lunchtime and after school clubs. I eventually moved on to working as a School Age Educator providing before and after school care and planning a play to learn structured curriculum. I have worked directly in school with students for more than 10 years.

Tutoring Approach:

Kids have a natural pull to learning and usually just need to find what connects their interests to classroom concepts. Being open and listening lets me find what packaging works best and help tackle the tough learning curves.
