Personal Description:

I am able to help elementary and middle school students with math concepts that are foundational for future academic contexts. I became a math tutor because I want to help struggling students understand math in a way that works for them. I have a flexible approach that puts the needs of the student first. During 1-on-1 sessions, students can address the material that is most relevant to their needs without having to worry about the needs of other learners.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish. I have over six years of tutoring experience in a number of subjects. My psychology background gives me particular insight into human development and the ways that people learn most effectively.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe students are capable of learning anything. As a math tutor, I strive to build a student's confidence while guiding them through an effective plan that fits what they want to learn and how they learn best.
