Personal Description:

I am an Ontario certified teacher for grade 7-12 and a new graduate from the University of Toronto's Master of Teaching program (2022). I am also a graduate of McMaster University where I obtained a degree in both English and History (2020). I am passionate about helping students become good writers because writing is how we express ourselves to the world. So often, students will claim that they are bad writers and they cannot improve. This simply is not true. Anyone can become a good writer, and I am here to help you accomplish that.

Tutoring Experience:

I have ben a self employed online tutor for the past two year (2020-2022) working with learners of various ages to hone their writing craft. I have also worked for a private tutoring company for two years where I supported high school aged learners study history and literature.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in creating a positive and supportive environment to help my learners achieve all that they are capable of. I think that a good relationship between tutor and student or teacher and student is the foundation for a positive relationship with learning, and I strive to achieve that in my sessions.
