Personal Description:

I am the creative sort, and I love to help others. People say that I do well at explaining things to them, and I have fallen into leadership positions multiple times because of my ability to make order out of what appears to be chaos.
Throughout school I was one of those students who could just look at a question and already know the answer, as well as the process for finding the answer.
In grade ten I taught myself Sine Law and Cosine law when the teacher wouldn't, and those were very useful for that school year and the ones beyond.

Tutoring Experience:

All throughout my time in school and out of school I have helped others (in my grade, below, and above) understand the lessons that they were being taught. I have assisted children, adults, and everyone in between in learning what they needed, be it for school or to get a job.

Tutoring Approach:

It's important to let the person involved know /what/ needs to be done, but it is more important that they know /why/ it needs to be done as well. It's one thing to just tell them, but it resonates, or sticks, better with them if they can see the process involved, even writing it down for enough questions for them to memorize the pattern (knowing what information they need for a math equation and what formula or formulas that they'll need to use, for example).
