Personal Description:

Whether you're just beginning your physics coursework, or you could use a refresher on the concepts, I am capable of providing the guidance you need. While I am primarily a physics tutor, I can help students with a variety of math subjects. I understand preparing for exams like the ACT as well, allowing me to go over the topics and testing strategies that are necessary to succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently a student and I am taking upper-level math and science courses. I have a concentration in General Physics and a minor in Mathematics. I have a bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution. I achieved high scores on the ACT, including a 25 on the Math and 24 on the Science portions.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to make the complex concepts seem simple. I break the material down into step-by-step fragments, which can make it easier to process the information. I collaborate with my students to figure out the concepts they need to review. From there, we follow a process in which I go over the process, show the application, provide practice opportunities, and test their understanding.
