Tutoring Experience:

I have experience tutoring in the following areas:
to catch up "bridging skill gaps", keeping up with grade level, enrichment and working ahead, homework help, study skills, time management and personal organizational skills. I focus on Language Arts (reading, writing, phonics), Social Studies (all grades), reviewing basic facts in math (basic foundation in math). I offer specific workshops for study skills, note taking, reducing test anxiety, personal organization, and basic time management.

Over 15 years of private customized tutoring, 6 years of substitute teaching, experience working with ages 3-17 years old.

Tutoring Approach:

I strive to make learning fun, and to build confidence in all of my students. I have a "prize box" for younger students, and try to find creative ways to keep students motivated and engaged.
