Personal Description:

In addition to being a science tutor to a diverse array of students, I have also been a guest lecturer on lab techniques and a mentor to a high school student. I am enthusiastic about tutoring in science topics such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and plenty of other topics in the sciences.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I then pursued graduate training in Biomedical Sciences, earning my Ph.D. in Medicine with a focus on Biomedical Sciences and an emphasis on Microbial Pathogenesis. I began tutoring science courses like Introductory Biology and Organic Chemistry in my undergraduate years.

Tutoring Approach:

As a science tutor, I work hard to create optimal studying techniques for each of my students. These vary because each student is different and learns best in a different way. I also help them develop reinforcement strategies to foster long-term retention of the science material we are studying together.
