Personal Description:

My name is Christian. I am currently a student at St. Clair College for the Arts, in for my third year of Chemical Laboratory Technology. I have attended 2 years of University for Chemistry, and spent an additional year at St. Clair for a diploma in CAD/CAM Mechanical technician.
I love science and math, and appreciate the effort that goes into learning more. I understand what extra effort must be put in for those with learning disabilities, as I have one myself.
I have my own method of transportation should one require at-home service.

Tutoring Experience:

I spent ~4 years tutoring Math and language to grade 2-8 at the Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) ,as well as some weekly freelance tutoring sessions with one student in the college.

Tutoring Approach:

I find it best to create a connection to the content being learned with the real world(where applicable), in tandem with developing their strengths. This allows for a foundation of understanding that will leave the pupil with a sense of confidence in what knowledge they have, and a better sense of what they must improve upon. Understanding is key, so a solid work and study ethic will help, not only presently, but also in the future.
