Personal Description:

I can help students effectively use their time and make the most of their opportunities. As a study skills and essay writing tutor, I am able to give students resources and techniques that they can use in a variety of academic contexts. I have strategies that I developed as a private educator and classroom instructor that allow me to lead effective, engaging sessions as a study skills and essay writing tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. Additionally, I attended graduate school, earning a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught students ranging in age from Pre-K to 8th grade. I have worked with students who have needs such as ADD/ADHD, autism, and Down's Syndrome.

Tutoring Approach:

In addition to leading organized, well-planned sessions, I make space for children to share their stories. I believe everyone has unique abilities and needs, and I work to teach each student as an individual.
