Information About Chloe
ChloePersonal Description:
I am Chloe, an Electrical Engineer who graduated in 2023 with a double Certificate in Business and Leadership. I grew up in France for over 14 years and then moved to California to complete my IB Diplomat and AP Classes and went on to study Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
I have always been someone who is very engaged with the community and I love giving back. Learning is something I continuously seek and love to share my love for learning as well as knowledge with other!
When I am not working, I love to be outdoors and do various forms of physical activities or going to learn about new things (this could be reading articles on new technology or visiting museums for example).
Tutoring Experience:
I have tutored all throughout my high school students aged 4 to 18 years old in various subjects ranging from French and Spanish to Mathematics and Physics.
I created a peer tutoring program at my high school and tutored various IB and AP Subjects as well as helped other students tutor too!
I definitely have an affinity for anything that involves Sciences (Math, Physics, Biology… ) and love languages!
Tutoring Approach:
My interest in tutoring stems from a desire to foster curiosity and innovation in others. I find great joy in helping students navigate challenges and discover their strengths. I am particularly drawn to their unique perspective and creative endeavours, and I am eager to support students in developing their skills further.
By becoming a tutor, I hope to inspire confidence, promote critical thinking, and facilitate meaningful discussions that will enrich learning experience. I am dedicated to guiding students in their academic pursuits while also nurturing their passion for personal development.
The key for a good tutor from my experience is patience and perseverance. Mistakes happen and they are part of learning but one should take the lessons from the mistakes and keep pushing because success will happen and it will be all the most rewarding when the student gets to see how far and how fast they have progressed.
This success will become their fuel when they encounter difficult times and the tutor isn't next to them. My goal is to give them the tools and knowledge to succeed without me. I am all the more happy when I am no longer needed as a tutor because that is when I know the student has succeeded and learned not only the knowledge needed for passing classes and exams but also skills that will show invaluable in life whether in elementary school or on their way to university and eventually in the working world.
