Personal Description:

I am a passionate English tutor who is always looking to help students identify the study methods that work best for them! I believe that instruction has to revolve around the whole child to help them realize their academic potential. I am comfortable helping students with a variety of English Language Arts concepts, including basic literacy, grammar, syntax, essay editing, and standardized test prep for the ACT.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a professional classroom teacher, so I understand how to help students pursue their educational goals. I also have a master's degree in Adolescent Special Education, so I am comfortable working with students who have special needs.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in teaching students valuable study skills, like organization and prioritization, that can be applied both inside the classroom and out, encouraging learners to discover how to study independently when I'm not around. I also believe in rewarding students for a job well done.
