Personal Description:

I am currently a 2nd year Bachelor of Music student specializing in voice performance at the University of Western Ontario. I have been singing in choirs for 10 years, I have been playing the piano since the age of 5, and the cello since the age of 12. Although I specialize in vocal performance I have an extensive background in theory and reading music as I have been studying theory and reading for 10 years.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutor students in piano, voice, and music theory. I prefer to teach at a beginner or intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vels.

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching methods are directed for younger students with minimal or no prior music experience. Before teaching I evaluate where the student is at if they have any prior experience, or if they are brand new. From there I am able to assess their current knowledge of music, and build on that. I also like to get to know the student's learning style and figure out what works best for them and what method of learning is going to be the most appropriate fit for them to have the best possible outcome.
