Personal Description:

I have taken all of my schooling in French and graduated with a French Bachelor's of Science with an Honors Major in Biology from the University of Ottawa. I am currently working as a Bilingual Disability Case Manager II for an insurance company. I regularly communicate in both French and English as a part of my job. My role requires high level organization skills, time management, and task management. As a level II Case Manager, I work with many people throughout the day and break down complex information to help people inside and outside of the company understand. I am also often asked to translate documents of a medical nature as well as provide information to French speaking clients.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience tutoring at a High School and University level in French, English, Math, Science and Biology.
I have tutored in Math, Science and Biology in both French and English.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand that what works for one person may not work for everyone and I am always willing to be flexible and adjust my methods to the student that I am teaching.
I take a very patient approach to tutoring and regularly practice goal setting with my students as something to work towards.
I am a strong believer in positive reinforcement as a way to encourage people and always try to find fun and creative ways to ensure that my students practice!
