Personal Description:

I bring my real-world experience as a published writer to my sessions. I can help students gain a deeper understanding of English by engaging them in activities that spark their interest. I work 1-on-1 with students as they practice editing essays for courses or college admissions. I can provide support to students in other areas as well, such as study skills or writing for public speaking.

Tutoring Experience:

My professional experience in writing allows me to bring a lot of expertise to English tutoring sessions. I worked for a local magazine for about seven years. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in English. From there, I earned my Master of Science in English.

Tutoring Approach:

From the first session, I center the student's goals and skills to determine the best perspective to take as they study. I believe learning is meant to be enjoyable and strive to bring engagement to each session. I encourage students to explore subjects and topics that interest them, which can make it easier to build strong skills in writing and editing.
