Personal Description:

I take pride in practicing and developing my teaching techniques with the goal of becoming a better tutor. With the various tools and tactics I have gained as a teacher, I try to guide my students through the process of solving a problem by themselves. I want them to get to the point where they can confidently explain and teach me a concept.

Tutoring Experience:

I am an experienced chemistry tutor and have taught several science subjects at the high school level for a number of years. As part of my repertoire, I have experience tutoring genetics and neuroscience, which often tie into chemistry. I hold a bachelor's degree in Human Biology.

Tutoring Approach:

I strongly believe in independent learning and self-guided discovery. As a chemistry tutor, I want to get my students to that a-ha moment. Seeing their eyes light up when solving a problem without my help is one of the main reasons why I choose to tutor.
