Personal Description:

Hi my name is Cal, I'm an Physics B.Sc with a maths minor from the University of Western Ontario, I grew up here in whistler and as I'm back in town for a while I figured I would continue tutoring since it's what I used to do while I was at school.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring on and off for the past 6 years, while at school I was a part of a peer tutoring program to help out others who were taking courses I had experience with. After Peer tutoring I got a job with a local 'Above Grade Level Tutoring' franchise, while with them I mostly worked with grade 11 and 12 students to help them pass physics and maths courses.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to take a structured approach in wich I usually start by going over homework that was assigned at the end of the previous lesson to make sure the student fully understands the problems and can bring up any questions they may have. After that each day would be a progression through the standard B.C. curriculum starting at whatever their current level is.
