Personal Description:

I believe that the key to success in all aspects of life is to celebrate the little wins. I adopt this approach in my role as an English tutor by rewarding students whenever they do something well no matter how small it may seem. I have had the privilege of tutoring my own students outside of the classroom and find nothing more satisfying than the academic and personal growth that is possible in a 1-on-1 environment.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over nine years of practical teaching experience and am currently working as an at-risk coordinator and instruction specialist. Part of my job is to help teachers develop appropria**Contact Detail Removed**sson plans for at-risk youth, so you can trust that I know how to craft personalized study plans.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to incorporate my student's interests into my lesson plan wherever possible. For example, the type of material doesn't really matter when it comes to reading practice. If my student wants to read a magazine about movie stars or the sports stories in the newspaper, that's fine by me.
