Personal Description:

I believe I am a great tutor because I understand that learning is about working to understand the underlying concepts behind the solution to a problem. As a physics tutor, I believe the key to being successful is presenting the correct challenge to the student at their current ability and knowledge level.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. After that, I worked in the business risk office of an auto finance company for four years. There, I served as a data analyst. I tutored all throughout high school and college, and worked as a teacher's assistant in numerous science and engineering courses.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a patient and analytical approach to tutoring. I aim to keep my students engaged in the material by teaching through the style that works the best for them. My main tutoring goal is to help my students gain a strong foundation of knowledge and critical thinking and reasoning skills.
