Hi! I'm a 4th year engineering student at UBC, Vancouver and I'll be teaching math and physics:) I've held previous science teaching jobs as well as engineering jobs so I have a deep understanding of the subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I've taught at students from 5 - 14 years at a STEM for KIDS camp that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I think my biggest strength is being young enough that I can still relate to and empathize with students but old enough that I have industry and teaching experience.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to teach students understanding of concepts rather than memorization of techniques or equations
With deep understanding, the equations come easier.
I also give real world applications of the concepts being learnt so students understand the relevance of it!
As a student myself, I am able to empathize with students and I try to make lessons as engaging as possible so that students can get the most value out of their time
