Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor who works with students of all ages and academic levels. In addition to general biology tutoring, I also work with students in advanced courses such as AP Biology and those who are preparing for a standardized exam such as the ACT Science exam.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in biochemistry and my graduate degree in molecular biology. I received a score of 5 on my GRE Analytical Writing. I began tutoring students when I was in high school and continued throughout my college career.

Tutoring Approach:

Each student is unique and deserving of individualized academic support that is tailored to their unique learning challenges and needs. I like to begin by learning about them and reviewing their goals. In addition to explaining concepts that are relevant to their studies, I also help students improve their study skills such as test preparation and note-taking to facilitate long-term academic growth.
