Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Ben and I'm a second year material science and math student at University of Toronto. I really enjoyed chemistry throughout high school, which inspired me to pursue a degree in a related field for my undergrad. I not only have theoretical knowledge of the subject, but also practical knowledge from what I have learned in labs. Other than school, I enjoy casually playing basketball and ultimate frisbee as well as competing in Dragon Boat with my school's team. Finally, I enjoy watching all kinds of motorsports as well as working out. I'm looking forward to connecting and sharing my enthusiasm for chemistry and related subjects with others.

Tutoring Experience:

I have no previous official tutoring experience, however I can offer my experience in the subject not just in knowledge, but also old notes from high school and university as well as past tests and exams.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is mostly doing practice problems. In my personal experience, doing practice problems is the most effective way to learn. My method of teaching is more so guiding someone to the answer by breaking the question down and into steps, and making sure the student understands each step of the problem.
