Personal Description:

My favorite subject to tutor in is algebra; however, with any subject, I strive to make the experience as engaging and interesting as possible. I can help students who are lagging behind in their class, as well as those who would like to check out concepts ahead of their peers. We can review concepts and skills together, which can bring confidence and motivation to their studies.

Tutoring Experience:

In addition to my bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education, I am a state-certified teacher. I have over 18 years of tutoring experience and six years as an in-class teacher. This experience gives me confidence in my ability to support students.

Tutoring Approach:

During our first math tutoring session, I enjoy getting to know the student's academic needs, learning tendencies, and areas of opportunity. My lessons focus on meeting their needs, whether they need someone to support them throughout their course or they're simply struggling with a few specific topics.
