Personal Description:

I am a PhD of Mathematics graduated from University of Regina, with ample experience in teaching math courses in university level as well as private tutoring. Tutoring will be online with a flexible time schedule.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught/tutored/TA'd: Calculus 1&2, Differential Equations, Cryptography, Combinatorics, Linear Algebra, etc.

Tutoring Approach:

Tutoring will be online, using webcam and digital pen so that the student will see the demonstrating formula/figures/diagrams etc. while seeing me and hearing my voice.
Motivating the student to learn the math stuff is very important in my approach. I first explain why the topic is important/interesting, then discuss about a specific problem and guide the student to get closer and closer to the solution. I always make sure the student has a sufficient mastery of the current topic before moving on to the next topic. I will give some assignments similar to the sample exam problems after each class and will go through the student's solutions in the next session before starting the next topic.
