Personal Description:

I make an excellent study skills and essay writing tutor because of my educational and tutoring experience. I can work with students of all levels. I understand that even the smartest students need assistance at times. I enjoy figuring out the best way to help each of my students succeed, whatever that means for them.

Tutoring Experience:

As a college student, I earned my bachelor's degree in English. I went on to earn my master's degree in Communication Disorders. I have experience working with students who have special needs and am available to tutor students of all ages in topics like Study Skills and Organization and essay editing.

Tutoring Approach:

It takes time for students to become good at something new, and writing is especially difficult to do well, especially when different educators have different writing requirements. When I first meet a new student, I like to take the time to get to know them. I want to know their likes and dislikes and what specific skills they wish to improve.
