Personal Description:

I have an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance, a Masters of Accounting degree and have successfully passed the Common Final Examination (CFE). I am 6 months away from obtaining the required 30 months of experience to become a fully licensed accounting profession, able to practice within Ontario. I have been employed at on of the global Big 4 public accounting firms for 5 years and have had teaching/tutoring experience for well over 7 years.

Tutoring Experience:

I have ample teaching and tutoring experience ranging all the way back to high school. During high school, I was a volunteer tutor for various subject areas across business, mathematics and science. As I progressed into University, I had the opportunity to become a teaching assistant for numerous courses in the beginner, intermediate and advanced financial accounting competencies (i.e. financial statements, line items, consolidation, etc.) and further was a teaching assistant for corporate finance, ethics, international business and much more. Furthermore, I have gone through extensive studying in business and specifically the CPA designation and as a result, I have teaching experience in the 6 competencies of financial reporting, management accounting, assurance, taxation, strategy & governance and finance and have invaluable advice on ensuring success on the CPA examination.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a very outgoing person with excellent interpersonal skills. I am very receptive to my students needs and concerns and I am incredibly patient in terms of explaining technical concepts, going through business fundamentals or giving all around advice for studying tips to succeed in any exam or assignment. I am a very caring and humble individual and my goal is to make sure that I help you succeed in whatever way possible! Your success gives me happiness and a sense of accomplishment and therefore I am always available for my students.
