Information About Ava
Toronto tutorPersonal Description:
I'm Ava and I'm here to create a fun, productive, and creative learning experience. I'm usually very popular with children and teenagers and I often volunteer to teach them or even my peers. I believe in teaching until the student learns fully and can teach it to someone else, that's when I consider the job done. With e younger brother at home and high school and college tutoring and teaching experience, I can confidently help the students reach the desired level of understanding in the chosen subject.
Tutoring Experience:
Private tutoring Mathematics and Geometry for junior high and high school
Teacher Assistant for a graduate course (Data Converters) for two semesters
Tutoring Approach:
During my past tutoring and teaching experiences, I learned that the best approach is to equip the student with the necessary logic to understand the matter at hand and rather than trying to make the student memorize blindly, guide her/him to understand fully to the level that she or he can teach it to her/his peers. I believe if the teacher creates a trusting and comfortable for the student, the student will easily share her/his misunderstanding and gray areas. No matter where they start, there's always room to grow with enough motivation, persuasion, and effort, and I will help them see it their potential and shine brighter.
