Personal Description:

I am a tenacious biology tutor who never backs down from a challenge. I truly enjoy teaching subjects that have a reputation for being difficult because I want to break that misconception and show my students that anything is attainable. My academic strengths include the sciences, mathematics, and standardized test prep for exams such as the ACT and SAT. Whatever your biology tutoring needs may be, I can help!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring other students since high school and also have experience teaching engineering in a classroom setting, so I know how to present information. I hold an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering and am currently a graduate student studying Mechanical Engineering.

Tutoring Approach:

It's simple, but I believe that a little bit of encouragement can go a long way in helping students pursue their goals. I'll also use repetition if my student is having a hard time drawing Punnett Squares or keeping mitosis and meiosis straight.
