Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor and I work with students of all ages and academic abilities. In addition to offering general biology tutoring, I also work with students who are preparing for a standardized exam such as the ACT Science, SAT Subject Test in Biology, and the MCAT Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in cellular biology and neuroscience. My ACT composite score was 36 and my SAT composite score was 1490. I have experience tutoring students in a variety of subject areas.

Tutoring Approach:

During our first session, I like to get to know more about my students, including what they're struggling with and what their goals are in working with me so the sessions can be tailored to their specific needs. I work diligently with a student, reviewing concepts as often as necessary until they understand not only how to find the solution but also the underlying concept behind the solution.
