Personal Description:

I aim to change student's minds about math. By building a solid foundation in early math concepts, any student can gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and enjoy math. I work patiently alongside my students as they review addition and subtraction or explore more advanced topics. I enjoy assisting students with the math concepts they find challenging.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over a decade of experience as a personal math tutor, beginning in high school. I have worked with K-12, college, and adult students. After I graduated with my bachelor's degree, I spent nine years in my company's Finance Department. During that time, I pursued an MBA in Finance and MPH in Health Promotion and Education.

Tutoring Approach:

When I tutor students in math, I take the time to listen to their needs. I believe that a positive attitude, perseverance, and perfect practice are invaluable to the learning process. I incorporate worksheets, interactive websites, and other activities for routine practice.
