Personal Description:

I received a lot of tutoring to raise my English skills to the level of my peers. I know how valuable that experience was for me and I became a physics tutor so that I could facilitate the same type of experience for other students.

Tutoring Experience:

I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in biological sciences. I've tutored students in a wide variety of subjects since I was in middle school. I have experience working as a clinical instructor for students with learning disabilities and I spent a year as a teaching assistant at an elementary school.

I've consistently received high scores on standardized exams, including an SAT Composite Score of 1600 and a score of 5 in AP Physics C: Mechanics.

Tutoring Approach:

My goal as a tutor is to ensure the student grasps the main idea of the concept well enough to apply it in a variety of contexts. To achieve this, I break problems down to the simplest form so students can engage with the material more easily.
