Personal Description:

I am a tutor who believes that math is better explained based on an individual's learning level. Being a math tutor allows me the enjoyment of watching a student's confidence grow as they begin to better understand concepts they struggle with. I feel that teaching the fundamentals in clear, precise ways is an essential part of math tutoring.

Tutoring Experience:

Currently, I am pursuing an undergraduate degree in political science and biology. I scored a 720 on my math SAT and achieved an overall score of 1520. I am able to provide math tutoring for students ranging from elementary school math concepts all the way through college algebra.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to math tutoring is to help a student to learn the fundamentals of a topic that they have difficulty with by explaining it in more simplistic ways that will make it easier to understand. I also center my focus on a student's strengths as well as the way they learn best.
