Personal Description:

My goal as an English tutor is to aid my students in better acquiring and retaining information to increase their skills in both reading and writing. I enjoy showing students their potential by helping them apply their English skills to academic, business, and personal goals. I have mostly focused on children's literature, including fairy tales.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. I then went on to earn my master's degree in the same field. I can tutor students in writing essays for college and in reading comprehension, as well as other English topics.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring philosophy is student-centered. I believe in creating lessons around what the student already knows and building their understanding from the fundamentals on. I don't think any lesson, no matter how good, can help a student who doesn't already know the basics of the subject. I help my students follow their instructor's instructions so they can pass their courses.
