Personal Description:
Hi! I am a fourth-year Chemistry Undergraduate Student at Simon Fraser University. I completed all of my undergraduate courses at SFU and I am currently doing chemistry research at Simon Fraser University to finish up my degree. I am passionate about Chemistry and my current research that I have been doing for almost two years. My research works toward the goal of implementing clean energy technologies (ie. fuel cells, water electrolysers) in large-scale applications.
Tutoring Experience:
I have tutored my friends in high school and have experience as a teaching assistant at an elementary school teaching science and math. Throughout university I have helped fellow classmates with homework and studying.
Tutoring Approach:
I don't like to give the answers to questions. I like to explain my thought process and show how to approach problems. I believe practicing problems and learning how to approach them in different ways is important to understanding the subject and successfully studying for exams. I also like to explain things differently than textbooks and lectures to better help students understand the material.
