Personal Description:

Hi I am Amanda and I can help you/ your child with their homework! I will be helping with math for ages from 4-14. I am in the eighth grade and have the highest average in the grade from 70 students (85.55%).

Tutoring Experience:

Through ou**Contact Detail Removed**mentary school I have always been the person that most people come to for help with their homework. I have helped many of my neighbors kids with their homework, and the results are always positive. I am very patient and understanding when someone may not understand something.

Tutoring Approach:

When tutoring I always want the best for the other person. I always make sure to break the problem up into as many steps as needed. I do this to make sure I don't just give away the answer, I want the person to actually understand so if they get a similar question they will be fine. I also never want the person to feel like they aren't enough. We all have times where we feel like we just can't solve a problem but I don't want the person to feel that. I will reassure them that they are fine and we can get through the problem!
