Personal Description:
I loved school when I was a kid and I want others to have a good experience learning my favourite subjects. As you can tell by my spelling, I am Canadian. I can get rid of the ‘u’ for American students.
I am patient, determined and will help you succeed academically. I won’t give up on you, so long as you don’t give up on me. Let’s work together!
Tutoring Experience:
I do not have official tutoring or teaching experience at this point. I did go to school to teach English as a second language and learned different teaching techniques. I also helped out friends at university when they struggled at classes. We would get together after class and I would explain things in a different ways until they understood.
Tutoring Approach:
Find out what you are struggling with -> call upon my own knowledge and do some research (if needed) -> first tutor session -> we'll go over what you do understand briefly and then move onto to the subject matter your struggle with -> I'll explain it in a variety of ways until you understand -> then we'll put it into practice and you will show me how you understand
