Personal Description:

I am fluent in Spanish and French (and English) and have taught around the world. I have a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which helps my in my work as a French tutor since many of the challenges faced by second language learners are universal. I tutor Conversational French and French 1 through French 4.

Tutoring Experience:

I began my college career where I was a dual major, earning a BFA in Film Production, and a BA in Music. From there I went on to earn double master's degrees, in Music, with an ethnomusicology concentration, and International Relations, with a modern languages concentration.

Tutoring Approach:

Often, if a student thinks they won't succeed in a new subject, like French, it is because they need someone to rebuild their confidence. Giving students the confidence to do well is my goal as a tutor, and one of the best ways to do that is to give them a strong foundation in the basics to build and move on from.
