I own, operate, and tutor at SMART CHOICE TUTORING™.

Prior to this, I was teaching engineering subjects at Durham College, creating course outlines for new programs, acting as a principal investigator in some research projects. Durham College named me a "Top Investigator" for 2012-2013 academic year.

I am also a Senior Project Manager and Senior Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Specialist engaged in consulting engineering projects.

Tutoring Experience:

I was, throughout my long career, tutoring, mentoring, and teaching. I was teaching at Durham College (Oshawa and Whitby campuses), tutoring high school and college students, and professionals in many different industries. I am also running kids DIY groups - modeling, electrical, and electronics.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer tutoring one-on-one or in small groups. I have also done tutoring long distance via Skype. I try to follow the student's curriculum, however, if the student is behind, I would go back until I am satisfied that the student can handle the current curriculum. If the student is gifted, or advanced, I would work with the student ahead of the curriculum.
