Personal Description:

I have a strong background in science and I enjoy working with students of all ages in this field. I am also available to help students in advanced courses such as IB Biology and those who are preparing for upcoming standardized exams in the field such as the MCAT Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, SAT Subject Test in Biology, and more.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology. I'm currently pursuing a graduate degree. I've had a great deal of academic success in school and on standardized tests. I've tutored peers successfully and built my strong communications skills during my time as cross country team captain during college.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe the best way to address a student's academic weaknesses is by playing directly to their academic strengths. This makes the process more enjoyable and efficient. I do this by taking the time to learn about the student in the first session and creating a detailed biology tutoring plan based on their goals.
