Personal Description:
I am a 28-year-old teacher ESL and History teacher currently enrolled in the History MA program at the University of Toronto.
Tutoring Experience:
I obtained a certificate in TESOL in 2016 and taught ESL and FSL as a private tutor from 2016-2019. I taught a variety of subjects in the French Catholic school system in 2018-2019. I am a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa B.Ed. program where I gained my OCT certification with a focus in History.
Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs and interests. I provide effective homework assistance, test preparation, or simply conversational practice that is student-focused. In order to set each student up for success, I determine what their goals are and create a concrete plan with them to reach those goals.
