Personal Description:

I am a professional tutor who loves English, Art, and Music. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Education at UBC with a concentration in English and a certification to teach English as a Second Language.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a BC professional certified instructor who has taught in the BC school system for a number of years. I have been teaching and tutoring students ranging from 6 years of age to adults for over 20 years. I have helped students pass the TOEFL and IELTS exams successfully. I love to teach English, ESL, and Writing analysis

Tutoring Approach:

I am great at assessing and understanding what my students need and adapting my lessons to meet their needs. I provide many practice problems and solutions and give comprehensive feedback. My goals are to encourage my students to reach their academic potential, to inspire in them an enjoyment of the learning process, and to build their confidence in their developing skills.
