Personal Description:

25 years experience. I love teaching, both as a classroom teacher and online, I've lived in many countries and value the diversity of cultures and experiences of my students. I am patient and skilled, having specialized in the various ways people learn and the needs of a variety of students with a range of abilities.

I offer online classes 7pm to midnight Sunday to Thursday (EST) and Friday 7 to 10pm (EST).

I'm married with children, enjoying life on our island property. At this time I offer online teaching, which is just like a private one to one class, but from the convenience of your home or preferred location, using live camera and voice, with an interactive shared screen.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring and classroom teaching ESL for the past 10 years, as well as serving as an education director and language school consultant. Prior to that I was an academic classroom teacher for 15 years in Ontario, and at Brent International School Manila.

Tutoring Approach:

Online tutoring is now widely accepted as an effective, convenient and cost saving means to learn many subjects; ESL perhaps most of all. You or your child and I are working closely, with texts and activities visible on both computer screens. In these classes I am following a program developed specifically for you or your child. Some years ago I developed a program (Write To Speak) which is a very easy way to improve speaking ability for those at an intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel of higher. As well, I also use textbooks, online resources and exercises to help the student.

Different learning styles means different approaches are needed to help the learner. My education background ensures that I apply this knowledge to patiently help the student to succeed.
