Personal Description:
I have interest in numbers since young. I took three Mathematics-related subjects for my Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) which are Mathematics of Data Management, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors. I have completed my OSSD with an average mark of 94%. I believe I can be a good tutor in Mathematics and assist students in this subject.
Besides that, I am currently working as a tax accountant and can assist with tax-related questions.
Tuition Experience:
I was a volunteer teacher for a Somalian Refugee Centre in Malaysia. All the volunteer teachers were required to design and teach the Somalian students some English and Mathematical skills. The students were divided into 3 levels. I was assigned to Level 3, the smartest and eldest group. It was an amazing experience as I had the opportunity to interact with them and learnt about their Somalian background.
Tutoring Approach:
I prefer to build a solid tutor-student relationship. I hope to put the students at ease and enjoy the lesson. I will make sure my students benefit from the tuition.
